And there in the cradle of the crust it laid
As if the wake up call delayed
In a strong painful whisper it said-
Just keep in beating, survive the raid.
For sometime when the war is over
The smell of smoke is gone,
When everything is burnt to ground
And there is nothing left to fight upon...
Roads will crack open
And plants will spring out of them
And birds will return to the long lost nest
In peace souls in the world shall rest.
